Are you ready to lead, inspire, and have fun while doing it? 😎 As a Retail Supervisor at LEGOLAND Discovery Center New Jersey, you’ll be the front-line hero driving an unforgettable retail experience for our guests! 🛍️ You’ll oversee daily operations, mentor your team, and even step in as Duty Manager a few times each week. Your goal? Deliver world-class service, keep operations running smoothly, and make every guest’s day magical! ✨

Qualifications & Experience

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Retail Team on the floor, providing example-based, shoulder-to-shoulder leadership 👥

• Deliver top-notch guest experiences while meeting or exceeding KPIs and Mystery Visit targets 🎯

• Support training, coaching, and development for the Retail Team 📚

• Collaborate with the Retail Manager on schedules, merchandising, and inventory control 📊

• Serve as Duty Manager 2–3 shifts per week, overseeing operations across the attraction 👑

• Motivate, mentor, and give feedback to your team, keeping energy high and morale strong ⚡

• Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure proper follow-up ✅

• Maintain clean, safe, and visually engaging retail areas 🧹🛒

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing training for new team members 👋

• Monitor performance metrics, including sales, dwell time, and team KPIs 📈

What We're Looking For

• Experienced in retail supervision or management, ideally within a high-volume retail or visitor attraction environment 🏪

• Organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a busy, high-energy environment ⚡

• A natural leader who inspires, motivates, and coaches a team to succeed 💪

• Comfortable handling guest issues with professionalism and care 🛎️

• Enthusiastic about delivering excellent customer experiences and having fun 🎉

• Preferably, a fan of LEGO and ready to embrace the magic of our attractions 🧱✨

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred 🎓

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in retail or related environment 🏪

• Excellent communication, sales, and people management skills 🗣️

• Experience with computerized point-of-sale systems 💻

• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays 🗓️

Pay Range

USD $21.75/Hr.
