Performance Host

Location: SEA LIFE London

Calling all explorers, ever wanted to come face-to-fin with some of the most curious creatures you will ever meet? Here at SEA LIFE London, we are on the lookout for Performance Hosts to tell the tales of our creatures and attraction.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver fun, engaging, and educational talks, shows, and 1:1 interactions.
• Be the friendly, knowledgeable face of SEA LIFE and the SEA LIFE Trust.
• Maintain high performance standards, following scripts, timings, and safety rules.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive, playful environment for all guests.
• Inspire curiosity and confidence through encouragement and interaction.
• Manage audiences safely while answering questions and enhancing the visit.
• Support daily operations, briefings, and performance preparation.
• Contribute to new show ideas, rehearsals, and creative development.
• Maintain costumes, props, tech, and keep performance areas presentable.
• Grow your animal knowledge by supporting the Aquarist team (feeds, food prep, water testing).
• Follow all health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and acting as Fire Marshall

This is a fixed term position where flexibility is key as you’ll be part of a roster that includes weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous performing or entertainment experience, with confident stage presence.
• High stamina and the ability to maintain strong, infectious energy throughout the day.
• Genuine passion for marine life and ocean conservation.
• Ability to learn scripts quickly, take direction effectively, and improvise when needed.
• Confident delivering fun, engaging, educational, family‑focused shows - including performing in character and wearing costume.

Pay Range
