We are seeking a Global Growth Performance Director to lead performance management across Merlin’s diverse portfolio, providing actionable insights that inform executive decision-making and support our business objectives globally.

The Role

This role is critical to the Growth function and Executive Team, ensuring performance is monitored, analysed and optimised across all areas including Marketing, eCommerce, Loyalty, CRM, and Revenue Management.

You will lead a team that develops dashboards, scorecards and reporting frameworks, delivering insights that identify growth opportunities and support course corrections. You will champion performance management best practices, embed a data-driven culture, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to maximise impact.

Key Accountabilities

Performance Reporting

  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of global performance review frameworks and tools.

  • Develop and maintain Growth function scorecards, Executive dashboards and reporting suites.

  • Ensure timely, accurate and actionable insights are delivered to senior leadership and regional teams.

  • Establish review cadences for performance materials to support decision-making and accountability.

Performance Insights

  • Translate performance data into clear narratives, recommendations, and actionable insights for the Executive Team.

  • Identify high-impact growth opportunities and areas for diagnostic deep-dives across marketing, membership, loyalty, CRM, eCommerce, and revenue management.

  • Partner with regional Insights leads and CoEs to optimise performance across all channels and functions.

Data Sources Management

  • Oversee the integration of internal and external data sources feeding performance dashboards.

  • Drive improvements in data quality, accuracy and accessibility.

  • Partner with external agencies and data providers to enhance global performance insights.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with Strategy, Planning, Finance, Operations, and CoE teams to optimise performance reporting and insights.

  • Share expertise, methodologies, and best practices across the organisation to foster continuous improvement.

  • Provide clear, actionable recommendations through written reports and verbal presentations.

Team Leadership

  • Build and lead a positive, collaborative, and high-performing performance team.

  • Foster ongoing learning and development, ensuring team members grow and succeed.

Qualifications & Experience

About You

You are a highly capable, commercially minded analytics and performance professional with experience managing complex global reporting frameworks.

You’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, data analytics, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years’ experience at a leading consultancy or performance/analytics/strategy function within a FTSE100 or global organisation.

  • Expertise in dashboard, scorecard and KPI management across multiple regions.

  • Proficiency in BI and analytics tools, including Power BI, with strong Excel and data automation skills.

  • Experience managing internal and external data sources, subscriptions, and partnerships.

  • Advanced understanding of performance metrics across marketing, commercial and growth functions.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to distil complex data into compelling visual narratives.

  • Results-oriented, with a focus on creating measurable business impact.

  • Proven capability to build positive, learning-rich environments for teams.
