This is the creative and media engine of Merlin. As the Global Creative & Media Marketing Director, you’re not just shaping campaigns — you're shaping how millions of families around the world experience joy, imagination, and play.
You’ll champion the creative vision, lead global media transformation, and unify brand storytelling across one of the world’s most loved entertainment portfolios.

🎬 What You’ll Lead
1. Creative Strategy & Development
Own the global creative vision for Merlin’s family of brands.You will:
Shape high-performing creative campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels.
Lead campaign development from first spark to global rollout.
Elevate creative excellence across every format — film, OOH, social, digital, experiential, content ecosystems, and more.
Partner with Global Brand to build global creative frameworks that protect brand identity while empowering local teams.
Work with Global Content to ensure the big strategic idea translates into every piece of content, beautifully and consistently.
2. Media Strategy, Transformation & Investment
Be the driving force behind Merlin’s global media evolution.You will:
Define the unified global media strategy in partnership with regions and agencies.
Modernize media planning and measurement to maximize ROI and impact.
Create a global media measurement framework to bring consistency and clarity across markets.
Champion audience-first, insight-driven, test-and-learn media planning.
Own global budgets for creative development, production, and media spend — balancing ambition with commercial value.
3. Agency & Partner Leadership
You’ll set the tone and expectations for Merlin’s global creative and media partners.You will:
Lead our tier-1 global creative and media agency relationships.
Manage scopes, contracts, commercial performance, and strategic output.
Run global briefings and embed collaborative, inspiring ways of working across partners and internal teams.
4. Leadership & Collaboration
This role influences at the highest levels.You will:
Inform and guide GTM leaders across NA, UK, and International markets.
Represent creative and media strategy in executive forums, sharing bold thinking and performance insights.
Act as a senior brand guardian — ensuring every campaign feels authentically “Merlin.”
Inspire creative confidence, media innovation, and cross-team unity across the global marketing ecosystem.

A track record of building breakthrough, award-worthy global campaigns.
Deep expertise in modern media ecosystems and performance marketing.
Experience managing global creative/media agency partnerships and high-value investment portfolios.
