Food and Beverage Host

Location: LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham King Edwards Rd BIRMINGHAM, West Midlands B1 2AA

Do you want to work in the ultimate indoor LEGO® playground? Then we have a Bricktacular opportunity for you! We’re on the lookout for Food and Beverage Hosts to help create the most inspirational and outstanding LEGO play experiences for our visitors.

A day out at a LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is like jumping into the world's biggest box of LEGO® bricks. And working in one is every bit as exciting! First and foremost, you’ll be working on the front-line in our Café/Coffee Shop, welcoming and greeting guests, taking orders at the till, serving drinks and snacks as well as simple food preparation.

Being in a food environment, you’ll make sure cleanliness and hygiene are top notch and all food safety procedures are followed. You’ll also be stocking and merchandising the displays, helping with stock ordering, and coordinating deliveries.

You’ll make every guest feel welcome when they come to the Café through your confident, engaging, and friendly personality, making the experience of a quick coffee or snack just as memorable as the fun within the attraction itself.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience working in a coffee shop, café or restaurant environment and understanding of delivering a busy food and drink service is advantageous
• Experience with guest services or previous customer facing work is desired
• Friendly and hardworking with a "can do" demeanour
• Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills
• Flexible to work around the operational calendar of the attraction (weekends, bank holidays)
