As a Custodian, you’ll play a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members. From public areas to behind-the-scenes spaces, you’ll ensure our attraction shines every day.

This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and understands that cleanliness is key to delivering unforgettable guest experiences 🦈💙.

Qualifications & Experience

🧽 Key Responsibilities

🧼 Keep It Clean & Guest-Ready

• Empty, clean, and re-line waste receptacles; properly dispose of trash.

• Clean doors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light fixtures.

• Safely clean and mop spills as they occur.

• Maintain cleanliness in both public-facing and backstage areas.

🚻 Restroom Care

• Clean and disinfect restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures, and mirrors.

• Restock restroom supplies to ensure guest comfort.

• Ensure all facilities meet high cleanliness standards at all times.

🛠 Safety & Upkeep

• Observe safe working practices and maintain storage areas in a safe condition.

• Correct or report safety or fire hazards 🔥.

• Report maintenance or repair needs to leadership.

• Safely operate a variety of custodial tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies.

• May assist with opening and closing facility systems or supporting the technical team as needed.

📌 This role may include additional duties as needed to support daily attraction operations.

🎓 Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• At least six (6) months of cleaning experience preferred.

• Friendly, positive, and team-oriented personality 😊.

• Strong communication and listening skills.

• Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.

• Comfortable working in loud areas and confined spaces.

• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

📜 Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to obtain any required certifications or licenses as required by law or job duties.

🚗 Travel Requirements

• Occasional local travel may be required.

🕒 Working Conditions

• Attendance is an essential function of this role.

• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays 🌙🎄.

• May work indoors or outdoors depending on operational needs.

💪 Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods.

• Move throughout all areas of the attraction with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to lift or carry up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, push, pull, climb, and crouch as needed.

• Comfortable working in loud environments and around cleaning chemicals.

• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 🦺.

🌦 Environmental Factors

• Exposure to varying temperatures and floor surfaces.

• May work in wet or damp conditions.

• Exposure to intermittent loud sounds and moving equipment.

• Exposure to varying lighting levels throughout the attraction.
