Job Description

What you'll bring to the team

Be the First Smile. Lead the Magic.

The Admissions Shift Lead is the hero behind every smooth, safe, and welcoming guest arrival. From managing queues during peak moments to coaching a high-energy team, this role ensures every guest’s visit starts on a high note.

If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love leading people, and are passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for families and children, this is your chance to step into a visible leadership role with room to grow.

Qualifications & Experience

What You’ll Do:

As an Admissions Shift Lead, you’ll balance hands-on leadership with guest-facing action. You won’t just supervise—you’ll jump in, support your team, and keep operations running seamlessly.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Lead the daily operation of the Admissions Department, ensuring safe, efficient, and guest-ready entry at all times.

  • Assign, guide, and support front-line hosts throughout the shift.

  • Actively manage queues and guest flow during busy periods.

  • Lead by example by stepping into host positions when needed.

  • Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest recovery situations with confidence and care.

  • Uphold and enforce all health, safety, and operational standards.

  • Coach, motivate, and recognize team members to drive engagement and performance.

  • Support training across areas such as ride safety, food safety, retail standards, and profit protection.

  • Partner with other departments to resolve issues quickly and keep the guest experience seamless.

  • Assist with scheduling, inventory, stocking, and team engagement when not duty managing.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an energetic, people-first leader who enjoys being on the floor and making an impact in real time.

You’ll be successful if you have:

  • A high school diploma or GED (college coursework or degree preferred).

  • At least 6 months of experience in attractions, entertainment, hospitality, retail, or other guest-facing roles.

  • Previous experience leading, training, or mentoring team members.

  • Strong communication skills and a positive, outgoing leadership style.

  • A genuine passion for creating magical experiences for children and families.

  • Comfort using point-of-sale and basic office systems.

  • The ability to stay organized, calm, and guest-focused in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.
