What you'll bring to the team

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst who will be a key contributor to the organisation’s global data, reporting, and automation capability, enabling evidence-based decision making across all three functions of People: Shared Services, COE and Business Partnering. This role will be responsible for transforming complex and fragmented data into high-quality insights, dashboards, and automated solutions that support operational performance, workforce planning, and strategic priorities.

The postholder will lead the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of advanced analytical tools using Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and, where appropriate, Power Apps. They will work in close partnership with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges, define reporting and automation requirements, and deliver scalable, reliable, and user-friendly solutions for attractions around the globe.

With a strong focus on data integrity, governance, and usability, the Senior Data Analyst will ensure that information is accurate, trusted, and accessible. The role will also provide expert guidance on best practice in data analysis, visualisation, and automation, helping to build organisational capability and reduce reliance on manual, inefficient processes.

Qualifications & Experience

Data Analysis, Reporting and Insight Delivery:

  • Extract, cleanse, validate, and analyse data from multiple systems and sources to support business reporting and decision making.
  • Design, build, enhance, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reports, including Board-level reporting for senior executives and operational stakeholders.
  • Develop advanced analytical models and tools in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, macros, pivot tables, and structured templates.
  • Support ad hoc analysis, reporting requests, and business initiatives as required.
  • Partner with IT to manage and deliver complex, sensitive data requests, ensuring secure database design, compliance, and accurate integration into executive dashboards and reporting.

Automation, Systems, and Process Improvement:

  • Create, support, and optimise Power Automate workflows to streamline processes for managers and employees.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancement of existing dashboards, reports, and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data processes, automation, and self-service reporting capability.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of reporting and automation solutions.

Stakeholder Engagement and Governance:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality outputs.
  • Document solutions, processes, and standards to ensure sustainability and knowledge sharing.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior or advanced data analyst, reporting analyst, or business intelligence role.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Strong experience working with large, complex datasets in a corporate or operational environment.
  • Experience working with HR, workforce, or people-related data (e.g. recruitment, payroll, absence, performance, learning, or employee lifecycle data) is highly desirable.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including macros/VBA, pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formula design.
  • Experience building and supporting Power Automate flows for business process automation.
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders and translating requirements into analytical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and governance principles.
  • Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Microsoft Power Platform or Power BI certifications are desirable but not essential.
