Master Model Builder - LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia
What You'll Do:
- Design, build, install, repair, and maintain LEGO® models of all sizes, from MINILAND displays to life-sized creations.
- Lead fun, interactive building workshops, classes, and special events for guests of all ages.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by creating memorable moments and providing friendly, engaging service every day.
- Design original LEGO models and build from sketches, design briefs, 2D drawings, 3D prototypes, and digital files.
- Keep the Master Model Builder workshop clean, organized, and fully stocked with LEGO inventory.
- Support marketing events, educational programs, and attraction operations, including appearing in media and social content as a brand ambassador.
- Stay up to date on LEGO building techniques and continuously develop your creative skills.
- Work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications & Experience
What You'll Bring:
- A passion for LEGO® and building, with the creativity and technical skills to bring ideas to life.
- Strong artistic ability, an eye for color and design, and experience in model making, crafting, or a related creative field.
- A friendly, outgoing personality with a guest-first mindset and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Confidence leading groups, teaching classes, speaking in front of crowds, and appearing on camera.
- Excellent organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs while maintaining a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret drawings, sketches, and design concepts to build detailed LEGO models.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
