What you'll bring to the team

Help keep the magic running behind the scenes!

At LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Scheveningen, every amazing guest experience starts with a safe, well-maintained and fully operational attraction. We're looking for a hands-on Technician who enjoys solving problems, maintaining equipment and ensuring everything works exactly as it should.

If you're practical, proactive and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.

This is what we do every day. Our 31,000+ awesome colleagues create and play together to spark the imaginations of children and LEGO® fans of all ages, all around the world. Just imagine being part of this – playing with ideas, creating magical experiences, and learning while growing and building your dream career. What you'll be doing

As our Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the attraction operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. From preventative maintenance and repairs to supporting exciting new projects, no two days are the same.

Working closely with the Technical Manager and wider attraction team, you'll help create an environment where guests can enjoy magical experiences with complete confidence.

  • Maintain rides, interactive attractions, AV equipment and building services.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools and work areas are maintained to a high standard.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure the attraction operates safely for both guests and colleagues.
  • Complete daily health & safety, fire safety and maintenance inspections.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Follow all safe systems of work, risk assessments and Merlin Health & Safety procedures.
  • Support emergency procedures when required.

Attraction Operations

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Respond promptly to operational maintenance issues.
  • Work collaboratively with all departments to minimise downtime.
  • Help maintain both guest-facing and behind-the-scenes areas to the highest standards.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Support annual maintenance planning.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the attraction and guest experience.
  • Take pride in delivering a safe, clean and welcoming environment every day.

Qualifications & Experience

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in a technical, maintenance or facilities role.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical or building maintenance.
  • Experience working with preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach to working weekends, evenings and public holidays when required.

Experience within a visitor attraction, leisure, hospitality or entertainment environment would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

  • Reiskostenvergoeding
  • Maandelijkse bonus
  • Veel bedrijfsuitjes
