We are looking for an enthusiastic Animal Welfare Host to join our Displays team and help provide exceptional care for a diverse collection of freshwater and marine animals, including sharks, rays, fish, reptiles, and invertebrates.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where animal care, conservation, education, and guest engagement come together every day.

What You'll Do

As an Animal Welfare Host, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of our animal collection while supporting the operation of our aquatic exhibits.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing daily care, feeding, and husbandry for a variety of aquatic animals.
• Cleaning and maintaining aquarium habitats and display areas.
• Assisting with the operation and maintenance of life support systems.
• Preparing diets and feeding animals according to established protocols.
• Supporting water quality testing, quarantine procedures, animal transport, and health monitoring.
• Assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of fish diseases under established guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate daily records for exhibits, systems, and animal collections.
• Delivering engaging presentations and interacting with guests to share your passion for marine life.
• Demonstrating outstanding guest service while bringing our company values to life.
• Collaborating with animal care professionals, veterinarians, management, and fellow team members.
• Contributing to the ongoing development and enhancement of our exhibit spaces.

Physical Requirements

This active position requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Work safely around water systems, equipment, and cleaning materials.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Work in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
