What you'll bring to the team

Step into the World of the Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse!

Join the Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse on Blackpool's iconic promenade, where beloved children’s stories come to life and imaginations run free. We’re looking for passionate Actors to bring the world of the Gruffalo to life, creating magical and unforgettable experiences for guests of all ages.

As an Actor, you’ll:

• Deliver high-energy performances featuring iconic characters like the Gruffalo, Witch (Room on the Broom), or Stick Man.
• Captivate young audiences through interactive storytelling sessions.
• Play a mix of roles, including face acting and costume character work.
• Conduct host checks to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.

This seasonal, fixed-term role includes shifts during weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday seasons. We recommend avoiding other performing contracts during this period to ensure full availability and commitment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Outstanding performance and character acting skills
• A lively personality capable of engaging and entertaining diverse audiences
• Stamina and energy to keep every show vibrant and dynamic
• A flair for improvisation and the ability to adapt to unexpected moments
• Previous costume character experience (preferred but not essential)
