About the Role

As our Global Pet Owner Acquisition Content Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to engage and inspire pet owners. You’ll play a pivotal role in our New Content Production Hub, collaborating closely with global digital platform teams, creative agencies, and acquisition specialists. Your work will ensure that every piece of content—whether an article, video, podcast, or social post—supports our acquisition goals and truly resonates with pet owners.

You’ll oversee the entire content production pipeline, from strategy and briefing to execution and delivery, always maintaining the highest standards of quality and timeliness. Acting as the single point of contact for global owned digital platform content, you’ll empower regional teams with the resources and guidance they need to connect with pet owners across the world.

What are your key responsibilities?

  • Collaborate with the Global RC.com business owners & the Social Business owner to create and implement content strategies that effectively communicate Royal Canin’s health initiatives to pet owners
  • Develop high-quality, engaging content, including articles, videos, podcast, social media content tailored to pet owners’ interests, ensuring all content is optimized for SEO
  • Utilize insights to inform content creation and ensure relevance and impact.
  • Oversee the content production pipeline for RC.com & social platforms related content to ensure timely delivery ofprojects. Coordinate with internal teams and agencies to allocate resources effectively for high-priority projects.
  • Support briefing process to ensure clear and concise content briefs for various projects, outlining objectives, target audiences, and key messages to guide the content creation process
  • Work with creatives to develop content that resonate with target audiences and align with brand standards.
  • Own the quality of the outcome for content related to strategic pet health, from briefing and conceptualization to execution and delivery.
  • Involve in the review and approval of all content produced including reg & legal ensuring it adheres to Royal Canin’s brand guidelines and effectively communicates key messages. Review drafts and final products, providing feedback and making necessary revisions.
  • Analyze the impact and effectiveness of content used in marketing activation, providing insights for continuous improvement and optimization. Collect insights from stakeholders and audiences to refine future content strategies and production processes.
  • Manage relationships with production agency, overseeing the entire production process for content related to RC.com & Pet owner always on social content. Ensure that agencies deliver high-quality work that meets brand standards and project timelines. ·
  • Oversee budget considerations for content production, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget while maximizing value and quality - balance creativity with financial considerations
  • Review production in Content council for approval before distribution.
  • Maintain RC.com & always on social content in the centralized repository ensuring easy access and effective use of resources.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between global Pet Owner marketing teams and regional teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient access to content resources for any Health territories content related.
  • Transversal ownership for localization capability. acting as single point of contact for the agency & internal stakeholder for training & questions.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Veterinary Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, localization or related fields, with a focus on customer acquisition.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in overseeing the content production process from briefing to delivery.
  • Experience working with creative agencies, and managing effective remote relationships. · Experience in working collaboratively with various stakeholders, including global and regional marketing teams.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and content distribution strategies, including social media, email marketing, and SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
