Job Description:

The MGS Labs Solution Architect will be responsible for partnering with key senior business stakeholders, technology teams and vendor organizations from all levels of Mars business functions to understand, articulate and refine business requirements to ensure the strategic priorities are addressed.

What are we looking for?

  • A Software Engineering mindset

  • Expertise in designing well architected solutions using Azure PaaS components and front end technologies such as REACT, NodeJS, Javascript.

  • Broad understanding of DevOps but with in-depth knowledge and experience of implementations with the Microsoft product stack (Azure/.NET, SharePoint, Azure DevOps)

  • Good understanding of Cloud based Data Analytics products and technologies such as Python, PowerBI, Datalakes, etc.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Understand and translate business needs into data strategy and common data models supporting long-term business objectives and solutions.

  • Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.

  • Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.

  • Lead and design modern solution design patterns including front end tools such as PowerBI, REACT, NodeJs, and database concepts such as start schema schemas, snowflakes schemas, physical data models and write advanced SQL queries to answer business questions.
