Over the past couple of years, Mars Wrigley has made significant progress to define Digital Demand strategy & foundational capabilities, which are critical to stay relevant and competitive in a world where consumers are increasingly shifting towards digital channels.

The key purpose of this role is to lead the design and delivery of brand communications that drive consumer centric quality growth via truly Integrated Brand Experiences across increasingly complex consumer journeys that span multiple channels and platforms.

This role sits within the European Brand Content & Conversion Hub (BCCHub) and will lead both regional specific content as well as act as a Global Brand Steward and lead content for our priority Global brands.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven knowledge and experience in brand building and strategic marketing and communications
  • Experience working across markets and cross-cultural perspective preferred.
  • Digital Marketing mix understanding and experience.
  • Ability to set and achieve goals and manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to create strong relationships across internal departments and external agency partners.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Design and deliver big, breakthrough creative communications that are platform and consumer first, based on strategically aligned priorities coming out of the Enterprise Brand Council (EBC) forum and Regional/ Global Cell strategies.
  • Lead and manage our ecosystem of agencies and partners (including but not limited to lead creative agencies, specialist touchpoint agencies, media agencies and JBP platform partners) and internal capabilities (including but not limited to Shopper, PR, HI, DComm, Social, Search, Sites etc) through campaign IATs, taking a One Demand approach to deliver end to end brand communications via IBE toolkits.
  • Support European and Global Performance marketing objectives via our brand communications and holistic briefs where relevant.
  • Turn business challenges into clear and holistic audience led comms briefs and ensure all IAT members are clear on and delivering against the brief.
  • Lead the creative process from brief to execution and ensure briefs are delivered on time and within budget (where necessary with the support of our cost controllers) and production approaches are as smart and flexible as possible.
  • Lead the definition of IBE content deliverables list and ensure clear R&R established.
  • Partner with the relevant functions to ensure ideas travel across geographies and cultures and are fit for purpose across the required platforms and channels (based on audience size, investment allocation, degree of addressability etc).
  • Ensure agencies and partners deliver against commitments made in SoWs and commercial agreements. Support the ongoing review process and measures to track partner progress.
  • Work closely with the Global and Regional Media team in defining relevant measurement and tracking of impact in ROI and ensuring IBEs are deployed. Where necessary, work to optimse content in-flight based on performance data and media and content recommendations.
  • Develop best-in-class IBE case studies and share with senior stakeholder and wider One Demand Community.
  • Support the stewardship of global brands and regional jewels.
  • Manage and work collaboratively with a vast stakeholder network across the business (e.g. Media, Brand and Cell Teams, Corporate Affairs, PR, Consumer Care and Digital Commerce) across the business to ensure the development of IBEs.
  • Ensure relevant sign off and approvals of all content (e.g. Legal, Marketing Properties, SRA etc)
  • Work closely with HI and the relevant teams to ensure content is appropriately pre-tested (e.g., FIT score, ACE, Neuro etc) and performing well ahead of delivery.
  • Act as the guardian to our brands and all supporting content ensuring we are meeting brand guidelines.
