Great opportunity for a part qualified accountant to grow their accounting and reporting capability, whilst developing Business Partnering skills supporting NPD delivery within a fast moving, innovation unit within Mars Wrigley.

Reporting to the FP&A and Reporting Manager, be responsible for the accounting and reporting of GSV to NSV, including managing a trade budget of £25m.

Be Business Partner supporting £2.7m A&P and F&S budgets, including managing Regional dashboard tools inputs.

As No 2 to the FP&A and Reporting Manager, deputise and own period end close process, including margin and cost variance analysis.

Working in cross functional business teams be Finance Business Partner providing support for the development of an innovation pipeline of Seasonal and Healthy confectionery portfolio.

As No 2 to the FP&A and Reporting Manager, deputise and own period end close process and deliverables as required.

Ad hoc project work on process and systems improvements as required

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree. Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or other accounting qualification. Study package available.
  • a couple of years of experience in areas of accounting or finance related fields
  • Understanding of basic double entry, financial processes and controls
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Process improvement experience would be an advantage

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Deliver period end close and accurate accounting and reporting.
  • Be Business Partner to A&P and overhead budget holders.
  • As Business Partner to business teams, provide costing, supply chain and decision making support to deliver Seasonal pack NPD for the UK and Regional market teams
