This role will be responsible for leading our Syndicated Data strategy & operationalization for the region, ensuring that our Syndicated data is not just fit for purpose but meeting the evolving needs of our business. This role will sit within our HI Business Intelligence team, and work closely with local market stakeholders and Regional Data lead and wider Human Intelligence team to ensure that we are leading the agenda of Syndicated data within the wider data strategy in order to deliver maximum value from syndicated data to drive the business and organization performance.

This role will work closely with the BI Manager to manage the day to day responsibilities of Syndicated data for the region.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree Qualification Preferred

  • Strong communication skills, verbal & written in English. Other European language would be a plus

  • 8-10 years of experience working with Syndicated data (ideally past experience both agency and client side) with an understanding of business performance drivers in the FMCG/CPG environment

  • Ability to manage complex agendas and multiple priorities simultaneously in a highly dynamic market

  • High levels of interpersonal skills specifically in the area of influencing, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Partner with Regional Data Lead - To influence and deploy data governance policies, standards and practices and to develop a standardized and efficient syndicated data strategy which can then influence our data acquisition strategy.

  • Agency Relationships - Manage relationship with the Nielsen IQ, Europanel and local Panel agencies ensuring quality service, maintenance of a culture of collaboration and mutual respect, data integrity and coverage, and a data strategy.

  • Transformation projects - Work with the wider BI team to partner and/or lead syndicated data transformation projects

  • Data Acquisition - Filter, consolidate & prioritize market & regional syndicated data consideration for the budget available, facilitating trade-off discussions with senior stakeholders. Working alongside the regional data lead to ensure the regions syndicated data needs are met

  • Supporting self-service of Syndicated data in the region - Working alongside wider BI team to drive data excellence within key stakeholders, making sure that teams equipped with the data, tools and required knowledge to make data based decision making.
