To provide support to the Quality Manager and Team in the day to day running of the MARS Horsecare UK Ltd Quality systems.
To provide support to the team in analytical requirements, and day to day analytical tasks. Responsibilities will include:
Knowledge of our products and systems and development of protocols with the QA Manager
Day to day overseeing of our Quality systems sample preparation and testing.
Collation and interpretation of results.
Preparation of reports i.e. Product Panel, Analytical Data etc.
Projects and Analytical programs.
Running of the daily Product Panel
To assist in maintaining our current Quality accreditations, BSI, UFAS, UFAS NOPS, HACCP and Mars Quality Standards.
To assist in maintaining all relevant QA policies and documentation.
To assist the Quality and Food Safety Team Leader with documentation and policy from Global Mars

The job holder will have an interest in the Quality and Technical aspects of manufacturing, and ideally the Equine business as a whole including our products.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Knowledge of our products and systems and development of protocols with the QA, VA & CSD Manager and Quality and Food Safety Team Leader.
Day to day overseeing of our Quality systems sample preparation and testing.
Collation and interpretation of results.
Preparation of reports i.e. Product Panel, Analytical Data etc.
Projects will include Molds & Mycotoxin testing and Analytical programs.
Running of the daily Product Panel with the support of the Quality and Food Safety Team Leader.
To assist in maintaining our current Quality accreditations, BSI, UFAS, UFAS NOPS, HACCP and Mars Quality Standards.
To assist in maintaining all relevant QA policies and documentation.
To assist the Quality and Food Safety Team Leader with documentation and policy from Global Mars.
Complete internal audit to cover the site, BU and MU and monitoring relevant corrective actions.
Assist in implementing work instructions and associated documents.
To assist in CAPA’s, Roots Cause and Gap Analysis
To participate in any training that is deemed necessary to enhance existing skills, enabling you to successfully carry out your duties in an efficient and productive manner.

Any other duties deemed necessary in order to carry out your role effectively.
