Delivers value and growth by driving product quality, assuring consumer safety, and promoting efficiency based on robust science while developing consumer-relevant products, processes, and packaging.

Supports the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the site Quality Management System, and manages initiatives that will ensure the site is fully compliant with all global Quality and Food Safety standards.

Plans and delivers on a range of products, process, and/or packs development & implementation projects in line with PNE growth and cost optimization strategies.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant technical or scientific discipline (Food Science/Technology, Biological, Chemical, Engineering sciences).

  • Demonstrated understanding of Quality Management and Food Safety Systems

  • Strong understanding of Global Food Safety Initiative schemes (e.g. SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000) or equivalent

  • A Microbiology background would be an advantage.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Supporting and managing the implementation and maintenance of the site Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Identification of opportunities to drive continuous improvement in the scope and effectiveness of the site QMS

  • Management of projects and initiatives that will ensure the effective operation and improvement of the site QMS

  • Manage projects designed to gain/maintain LRQA QMP compliance, and accreditation to selected external Q&FS-related standards

  • Act as an internal auditor and provide support during external auditor visits

  • Support and facilitate risk assessment and risk management activities across operations and functions, including change management, troubleshooting and incident management

  • Reporting and analysis of key quality metrics (incl. consumer complaints), and the identification/implementation of activities required to improve performance and deliver against targets (e.g. Right First Time, product performance)
