Production Support Operator – Night Shift

22:00 - 06:00 Monday - Friday

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a PSO to work within our Plymouth site.

Process Operator key responsibilities:

  • Operations Management leads and integrates the efforts of a single team or multiple teams across all shifts responsible for all quality, safety, cost, reliability and quantity of the line or lines which make up the value stream.

  • Responsible for sound people management, problem solving and project management skills. Is responsible for producing finished goods or sub-assemblies for finished goods.
    Manufacturing Production focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including:

  • Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards

  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods

  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products

  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis

Process Operator skills and experience:

  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)

  • Workable Written and Spoken English

  • Experience in an FMCG Manufacturing environment preferred but not essential.

  • Experience from a similar role essential; you could have worked as a manufacturing operative; extrusion operative; machinery operative; factory operative etc.

  • Flexibility, Team Player and Great Communication Skills
