Due to continued expansion we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Petcare brand at Castle Cary as an Warehouse Operative on various shifts

(Shift 1 rotation: Monday – Friday: 22:00-06:00, 14:00-22:00 & 06:00-14:00 Shift 2 rotation: Saturday – Sunday:10:00-22:00 & 22:00-10:00)

You will be a multi-skilled associate who is responsible for achieving maximum efficiency of our packing lines whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained. The purpose of the job is to efficiently run packing machines in the factory to ensure adherence to the production plan. The packing operator will also play a pivotal role in identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects within the packing hall.

Main duties include:

• Maintaining excellent packaging line efficiency in line with the set plan and escalate any deviation from standard or plan

• Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards throughout the packing hall

• Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard

• Actively participate in Operational processes that support the improvement of our business performance

Skills/experience required:

• Basic written and spoken English

• Experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environment – e.g. Packing Operative; Packaging Operator; Production Operative; Warehouse Operative etc.
