Procurement Transformation Project Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or junior sourcing specialist to join our Commercial team as a Procurement Transformation Project Manager. This role can be based in our Slough (Berkshire), Waltham (Leicestershire) or Birstall (Yorkshire) sites.
Our salary range for this role is £35-45,000 in Waltham/Birstall and £40-50,000 in Slough depending on experience.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Drive regional transformation activities across procurement, working closely with cross functional project teams. Projects differ in terms of type and complexity.
Drive and implement commercial transformation agenda.
Management of Projects related processes and tools and knowledge management topics.
Deploy projects aimed at synergies.
Support a more effective and agile implementation, while identifying efficiencies that will allow resource and focus aimed at transformational projects that enable the function to meet its commitments to the organization.
Enable sharing best practices and learnings across the organization.
Enable sourcing strategies through project implementation.
Contribute to the development of fit for purpose processes, systems and tools).
What are we looking for?
Experience of working a supply chain and/or project management role
Experience of engaging internal stakeholders in order to deliver defined objectives in agreed timeframe.
Fluent in English (written & spoken). Other languages beneficial.
High level of proactiveness and willingness to take responsibility.
Excellent communication skills.
