Job Description

Job Description:

As we look to simplify, integrate and embed our new and existing procurement, sustainability and supply chain resilience tools into Mars Wrigley processes, we are looking for a Solution Architect to bring detailed technical knowledge and leadership to the design and decision-making process. While there is a lot of great knowledge in pockets across Mars regarding how tools are used and how the data is flowing, we are lacking a central lead who has the technical knowledge to bring it all together into one clear ecosystem. This role will work closely with Mars Wrigley Digital Technologies, Mars Global Services Digital Technologies and the Mars Wrigley Procurement, Sustainability and Supply functions to map out our data and systems landscape and consult on how to best move forward in partnership with other programs and initiatives.

  • Hands on experience background in application development, data, integration, and technology lifecycle management
  • Experience in the technical leadership of large software implementation projects including Enterprise Integration technologies and patterns
  • Experience mapping tools and systems to end to end processes in service of efficient and robust ecosystem design, and guiding analysis for additional fit for purpose solutions to address gaps or inefficiencies.
  • Ability to deliver compelling and confident presentations centered on development and design and its value connection to process automation
  • Ability to develop trusted relationships across internal technical and business stakeholder groups, and key partners such as SAP and partner ecosystem

  • Identify key interactions and dependencies across separate sourcing systems and platforms
  • Propose industry standard methodologies and templates for the platforms and software that support sourcing
  • Evaluate and establish the technical integrity of solutions, and ensure they remain aligned to requirements and delivery throughout projects
  • Maintain the alignment, integration, and coordination of architecture activities across different programs, projects and products within procurement, sourcing, and supply chain resilience
  • Oversee development and application of minimal viable architectures, which can include a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles, and guardrails, through the EA governance model. Clarify accountability and provide the focal point for agile, effective, and efficient decision making throughout governance processes.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure consistency with enterprise architecture and cyber security, as well as to leverage shared technologies, tools and processes that impact speed to value and time to market.
