M&Ms Retail- Print Shop Team Member- Hackettstown, NJ

  • Pay: $23.56/hour and $1.50 shift premium

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday with rotating shifts between days and afternoons
    • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
    • Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
  • Note: Shift and hours may vary based on volume and demand throughout the year
  • Note: Must be willing to work various rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and seasonal peak time

Description of Role:

The Print Shop Team Member is responsible for printing, bagging, shipping, and co-packing as part of a manufacturing team dedicated to efficiently personalizing M&M’s products. Please note: this is not a graphic design position.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Strong interest in manufacturing with a willingness to learn equipment operation and basic maintenance
  • Proficiency and comfort with computers and PC software, including MS Office and email

Physical Requirements:

  • Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours
  • Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
  • Basic machine maintenance and cleaning ( with training)
  • Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing facility experience
  • SAP experience
  • Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions, etc.

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

  • Operate, troubleshoot and change over specified machinery safety and efficiently
  • Complete equipment preventative maintenance (PM) and perform autonomous maintenance, including cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly of equipment.
  • Conduct quality control (QC) tasks such as metal checks, inspecting date codes, item numbers, dump logs, and tracking waste.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality checks, production numbers, and waste performance.
  • Keep detailed log books and complete all shift documentation accurately.
  • Any ad hoc requests

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 23.57 - USD 32.41
