Are you a seasoned corporate communicator with a passion for science, data, and technology? Mars Petcare Division, Science & Diagnostics, is on the hunt for a dynamic individual to lead our communication efforts into the future.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • We are seeking an exceptional communicator who possesses significant and relevant experience in in-house and/or agency communications within the healthcare domain.
  • A degree in Public Relations/Communication or a Science-related Degree with proven experience in communications and public relations.
  • A strong and broad background in communications within the human or animal medical, health, or med tech sectors.
  • Robust experience in media relations, making you the voice of our scientific endeavors.
  • A track record of leading successful strategies and outputs for digital and social media content.
  • The ability to think on your feet, adapting to changing landscapes.
  • A knack for working within a layered and decentralized business structure.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Scientific Advocacy: Streamline and prioritize scientific themes and programs that align with Mars Petcare's Purpose. Amplify these narratives strategically to drive behavior change. Let's bring science to life and showcase how it supports our mission to enhance pet's lives through data, technology, and the positive impact pets have on society.
  • Global Impact: Collaborate on developing annual communication strategies, executing them in conjunction with Corporate Affairs teams across Science & Diagnostics and Mars Petcare. Align your objectives with global Scientific Affairs strategies and relevant local plans.
  • Content Development: Craft compelling science content and materials. Adapt global materials like press releases, statements, talking points, Q&As, fact sheets, and internal slides. Manage the internal review process and take the helm in media and stakeholder engagement.
