To help step change our Talent and diversity for the future, the newly created role of Petcare Talent & I&D Lead will be at the forefront of advancing the Mars Petcare Talent and I&D agenda, developing our next generation of leaders, advancing the diversity of our leadership and enabling increased career development opportunities across our business.
What are we looking for?
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Preferred) in areas such as Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, Business or related fields
Knowledge / Experience
- Significant experience influencing senior business leaders and without authority
- Experience of driving impact in a matrix, multi-country organization, and ideally globally
- Extensive experience in P&O, Talent, Capability and/or I&D, and an understanding of how to improve systemic outcomes using organizational development approaches
- Experience in creating and implementing talent initiatives which have improved overall talent health
- Understanding and a passion for diversity and how to engage leaders
What will be your key responsibilities?
Create a Talent and I&D roadmap and plan for Mars Petcare to deliver a transformation in the Talent and I&D agenda for Petcare, in line with the new Petcare OGSM and PLT priorities and bringing in external best practices. Specific focus areas include
- Accelerating the next generation of global Petcare talent
- Interventions to increase diversity and bench strength in identified senior roles and pools
- Advancing cross Division development, movement and careers in line with our ecosystem of talent agenda
- Developing and aligning a compelling EI&D agenda and activating senior leader advocacy
Drive rigor in reviews and engaging communications of Talent and I&D progress, grounded in robust data, analytics , external trends and best practices. To include: Segment MDR, Division reviews, Corporate engagement and governance reviews and engagement of the wider Petcare P&O community.
Partner and co-ordinate with Mars Inc Inclusion and Diversity CoE, Influencing the Mars Inc. cross segment agenda to meet Petcare’s diverse needs, and champion and drive Mars Inc. I&D KPIs and best practice initiatives across Petcare.
