Petcare data and analytics Platform Product Architect

Data and analytics product architect, responsible for maintaining the Petcare data and analytics Platform frameworks implemented for the global Petcare Data and Analytics function. Ensuring the platform is defined and delivered within the boundaries of the Petcare Architecture standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technical business analyst or a platform/DevOps/System reliability engineer who is looking to step into architecture and work with a global team of talented professionals and make a real impact on our Petcare data and analytics platform.

What are we looking for?

  • Advocate and enforce applicable standards, policies, procedures, and best practices in the implementation and/or maintenance of the platform.
  • Assist with the platform portfolio life-cycle activities and drive through data mesh structured sustainable solutions to maximize the value contribution of D&A to Petcare.
  • This role provides a global depth of technical and functional knowledge for the Petcrae D&A segment team for the design, development and operations of global frameworks.
  • Assisting with Design Authority and ensuring the Data Solutions Review board meets its objectives and enables strong governance on solution delivery across the data mesh.
  • This position reports to the Global data solutions architect, working in strong collaboration with all Petcare divisional D&A teams, and with the Senior Technical product manager of the platform. As such, the role provides broad exposure to business stakeholders around the globe and required strong business process knowledge around D&A capabilities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Play Design Authority role for segment products and frameworks at the Product team level, assessing impacts and approving all the initiatives that are going to be related to products and services on this product team.
  • Seek highly automated solutions and new approaches to work
  • Partnership with the Product Manager and/or Functional Experts on continuous improvement, the evolution of the product and Lifecycle management
  • Participate in the new design for solutions, services, and products for the platform together with Business stakeholders, Domains Architecture, Transformational programs, Strategic Functional Capabilities, Business Partnerships, etc.
  • Liaise with the other Functional areas with D&A to ensure consistent cross-functional business process design
  • Providing supervision and guidance to development teams around the current product and services design, assuring the design is protected and the global/mandate processes are secured
  • Support Operations in complex and high-impact issues and problems as they arise.
  • Accountable for process and technical knowledge gathering, update and validation of products and services under the Petcare Segment D&A team, including documentation/knowledge from external teams that will touch those services and products
