The role operates across regions and functions partnering with various teams within the program, both technical and functional to deliver new developments on the S4/HANA ERP system for Mars Petcare.

Manage external delivery partners to deliver quality, robust and scalable solutions to solve business problems.

Collaborate with Mars Enterprise Technology teams to eliminate roadblocks/challenges to ensure the smooth functioning of the development team.

Apply past learnings and feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement of the development process.

What are we looking for?

  • Must have - A bachelor’s degree in computer science related field.

  • Nice to have – post-graduate qualifications in Computer science, ERP systems or business.

  • Nice to have – professional qualifications in SAP.

  • Strong experience working on ERP systems (preferably SAP).

  • Functional and Technical understanding of SAP S/4 ERP capabilities.

  • Previous experience of leading team of developers in an innovative and dynamic environment.

  • Be capable of delivering high-quality SAP solutions through third party vendors.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with members across different technical and functional domains.

  • Must possess excellent collaborative and interpersonal communication skills to influence stakeholders from across the business.

  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and sensitive to established schedules and scope.

  • Handle project activities including conflicting priorities, issue escalations, and status reporting and be well versed with Agile principles.

  • Passion for exploring and learning new technologies/frameworks.

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.

  • Good understanding of IT infrastructure components & challenges.

  • Basic experience of Project or Scrum Management.

What will be your key responsibilities?

You will be leading a team of developers responsible for the design and development of quality, scalable and robust enterprise solutions using a combination of SAP technologies (ABAP, Fiori, etc.) and platforms (Native S4/HANA and SAP BTP). Key responsibilities include:

  • Engage with business and functional stakeholders on design and scope discussions.

  • Manage and prioritise demand for new developments using Agile principles.

  • Work closely with third party System Integrator partners to deliver quality, scalable and robust enterprise solutions within time and budget.

  • Collaborate closely with the EOS Engineering and Release teams to ensure the smooth deployment of technical developments across the S4/HANA landscape, including service introduction,

  • Coordinate changes with up-streams & down-streams systems when required.
