Outbound Logistics/Transport Planner

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that all produced finished goods are delivered on time and in good quality into the different market warehouses. Additional functions include, enablement of the local business community and providing support to the logistics teams.

• Systems orientated

• Logistics/Transport experience

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Set up a transport plan for export and UK production and control all changes with regards to the outbound planning for the set horizon

• Follow up and improve service level of the hauliers with support of the commercial team

• Being the first contact with the market warehouses and transport/export agents with regard to all delivery requirements

• Work closely with the warehouse and palletisers on site to ensure the transport plan is clear and followed

• Handle all quality complaints from our market warehouses concerning our finished product and flag structural problems

• Acquire the best knowledge about business processes and supporting systems functionality

• Train business users (existing and new joiners) on business processes and supporting systems functionality

• Support business users by fixing issues or by escalating issues to regional or global support teams

• Represent area of responsibility in x-functional workgroups with other KUs to ensure seamless integration across functions locally
