Job Description:

Operators are system experts within their assigned areas and demonstrate high functionality across multiple operational zones. They are responsible for ensuring efficiency, operational conformance, product quality, and driving continuous improvement. As integral members of the area team, Operators directly contribute to the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities, operating and changing over specified machinery within prescribed timelines. Operators are expected to possess the versatility to perform tasks of other associates in the area as needed.


What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience operating process and/or packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve intermediate to complex equipment and process issues.
  • Experience with MRP systems and inventory management preferred.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.


What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Operate process and/or packaging equipment to complete the conversion process and package finished product prior to shipping, in accordance with all SOPs and specifications.
  • Ensure efficient and effective operation of all process and/or packaging equipment to exceed production schedules.
  • Perform all area changeovers and support continuous improvement activities within the area.
  • Conduct intermediate to complex troubleshooting of equipment and processes.
  • Complete all area transactions in the MRP system and troubleshoot inventory issues as required.
  • Perform all quality checks as defined in SOPs and adjust equipment to optimize product quality.
  • Support site objectives through strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by performing the tasks of other associates in the area as needed.
