Working as a member of a the day's based operational development team, their primary role is to demonstrate ownership and responsibility for a set number of machines and processes of their operational area of the factory. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, they will work closely with the Shift Operations Management Teams to identify areas of improvement based on their area's performance.
They will drive improvement plans by engaging with Shift Management Teams as well as working closely with the site's Reliability teams.
They will own 50% of the factory improvement programme working alongside another Operational Development Manager in a days based role. The roles are split by technology to drive specialists in each area. They will drive process confirmations, machine standards, AM implementation as well as working closely with the FI team to identify and execute top loss projects to improve their area's efficiencies (TRS/OEE) and reduce waste (Kg/Tonne).
This role also encompasses the role as acting as the Site Mars Supp
ly Excellent Lead, they will work closely with the Site Management Team to drive the MSE Pillars of M/PM/FI/SAFEY/QUALITY/LEADERSHIP. They will drive focus, rigor and consistency within their operational area.
What are we looking for?
- Ideally have a degree in a Technical or Business Management discipline
- Experience of leading TPM,WCM improvement programmes at site level
- Fluent English verbal and written skills.
- Experience in the FMCG / Factory Operations industry
- Logical thinker who can develop and drive their improvement plans by engaging stakeholders
- Aspirational operations professional who is wanting to progress into a Site Operations Manager
