Partnering with Performance Champions across MGS to develop new and sustainable ways to measure operational performance and value contribution across the expanding portfolio of services to deliver to the segments and corporate functions.
Also collaborate with Product Managers to design, develop and test new features and functionality across a suite of performance tools built in Power BI on top of the Mars Data Lake.
What are we looking for?
1. Education & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (required)
- Agile qualification (CSM/PSM/SAFe) (required)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (preferred)
2. Knowledge/Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a technology organization or the IT department of a large multinational
- Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (computer science, economics, statistics, business) or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience developing in contemporary visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is required. SQL query writing, ETL skills (via SSIS, DataBricks, etc.) and experience using APIs in an analytics setting are highly desirable
- Knowledge of basic software development lifecycle concepts
- Experience in a data/analytics role dealing with varied and complex data Confidence working with structured and unstructured data from a variety of domains
- Experience dealing with ambiguity and a desire to collaborate with others to achieve objectives
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills and ability to simplify complex problems in a multicultural, global setting with both technical and business teams
- Passion for personal development, demonstrated ability to rapidly develop new skills and fluidly move into adjacent domains
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Working in a small product-based team that directly supports the MGS LT and MGS service line leadership teams, partnering with Performance Champions across MGS to develop new and sustainable ways to measure operational performance and value contribution across the expanding portfolio of services we deliver to the segments and corporate functions. I also collaborate with Product Managers to design, develop and test new features and functionality across a suite of performance tools built in Power BI on top of the Mars Data Lake. Being at the leading edge means we deal with opportunity as well as ambiguity. - Managing flow of performance-related data from various sources into MGS Performance Database (in Mars Data Lake)
- Consistently ensuring usability, data quality and responsiveness of performance analytics tools built in Power BI
- Participating in technical feasibility assessments together with Product Manager, Data Owners and other roles as input to product roadmaps
- Maintaining and enhancing Power BI reports and dashboards, with latitude to take advantage of latest platform functionality and custom visuals
- Leading or participating in design thinking or user centric studies to identify opportunities for new BI tools from across MGS Using MGS performance tools to identify noteworthy trends, patterns and correlations; then work with your teammates and customers to mine for insights
