As a Marketing Data Analyst you will use advanced analytics and visualization to take large-scale data and create a means for easy comprehension and insights from internally developed consumer data products and related mar/ad tech. This role will need to work closely with the other specializations on the team, as well as be able to partner across functions with key stakeholders in local markets, brand teams, content teams, agencies, and IT to activate and optimize digital marketing to drive further growth and efficiencies.
What are we looking for?
- Strong comprehension of data visualization concepts and design best practices, understanding the purpose of specific visualizations and methods to communicate complex insights
- 2+ years of work experience on either Tableau or Power BI is required, with the flexibility to switch platforms if necessary. Experience in developing with D3.js or other web-based libraries is a plus.
- A working knowledge of User-Centered Design and/or UI/UX development within a scrum methodology preferred
- Experience in working with consumer data, especially as it relates to measure media and marketing performance preferred
- Experience in an analytical role with a good understanding of data science methodology (e.g., EDA, feature engineering, etc.) is a plus
- Expertise with Python and/or R as well as SQL, with experience using Snowflake, Databricks, or other big data technologies a plus
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Develop campaign visualization templates to be reused on the CDP, with an eye toward purposeful design and aesthetics that aid in data comprehension, especially as it relates to quantifying the impact and value of digital channels such as paid and organic search, email, media, social, and influencers
- Design front-end visualizations for internally developed consumer data products, partnering with the data engineering team for performance and optimization
- Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions to gather design requirements, working in an agile framework for frequent, iterative updates
- Work with the data scientist and analysts on the team to ensure visualizations align with the intent of the data model design and output
- Partner with additional Human Intelligence teams to syndicate consumer data-driven visualizations and insights to the broader company
