The Market Collaboration Lead will be situated in the local market whilst reporting to the regional planning center.
They own the consensus forecast in the market for their portfolio, in periods for the full horizon (up to 39 periods), ensuring sign off from the respective sales director via market DMR meeting (facilitated by Senior market collaboration lead)
They will achieve this by maintaining forecast drivers (building blocks), assessing trends, evaluating risks and opportunities, and managing upside and downside scenarios in collaboration with sales, marketing and finance teams.
With specific focus on 4+ periods planning horizon, key to the role is ensuring a balanced forecast that considers demand sensed inputs and all associated building blocks factoring in relevant input (e.g., promotional activity, distribution changes, marketing campaigns) for their portfolio. This requires the agilityto create and analyse different scenarios against a defined set of metrics.
What are we looking for?
E2E understanding of Supply Chain with detailed experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Inventory Management
Ability to present complex analysis in understandable forms to business stakeholders including the ability to articulate the needs of the business and the customers to supply chain stakeholders.
Ability to work in a matrix structure
Ability to listen to others and link to others’ ideas
Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
What will be your key responsibilities?
Owns the Consensus forecast for the Market taking onboard the system and forecasting analyst inputs as the major building block for their portfolio in periods for the full horizon to drive the supply plan
Provides insights to the Sr Market Collaboration Lead for the DMR, on the portfolio across the full horizon
Maintains forecast drivers for the portfolio, understands drivers of base sales trends (last year, previous years and YOY), upside and downside scenarios
Assess trends, risks and opportunities together with the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams
Incorporates approved upside and downside scenarios on top of the system generated forecast at appropriate level of hierarchy
Receive and confirm escalations of short-term forecast issues from Product Availability Teams.
Reviews forecast performance metrics from previous cycle and collaborates with Forecasting Analyst to develop an action plan to improve performance
