The Innovation Centre Q&FS Coordinator will review all relevant Mars Quality Standards, liaising with Global, Regional and Site Quality & Food Safety (Q&FS) functions, in order to devise and implement a world class Q&FS strategy.

The Innovation Centre Q&FS Coordinator will highlight and close gaps via an action plan, delegating and supporting where necessary and creating tracking systems to ensure adherence to timelines. They will also be responsible for leading the HACCP team, to ensure full compliance with the Mars HACCP requirements, and will also support an R&D External Facility in regard to Q&FS standards and HACCP implementation.

What are we looking for?

  • HACCP Level 3 certification is a minimum and required

  • Experienced in leading audits and training others in quality-related topics

  • Strong communication skills, leading conversations between teams

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Create the Q&FS strategy to align with Mars standards

  • To take responsibility for ensuring all relevant Mars Quality standards are met, whilst tracking compliance

  • To ensure all trials undertaken are safe and meet the requirements relating to trial paperwork, risk assessments, concessions etc.

  • To lead internal and external audits

  • To manage and report all deviations to standards

  • To lead the HACCP team and be an active member of the site HACCP team

  • Support the Site Food Defence team

  • To ensure all new standards are reviewed and implemented

  • To support the R&D External Facility where possible

  • To review and support both Regional and Global teams with Q&FS systems, such as Material Risk Assessments, CAPAs, PRIMPS, Concessions etc.

  • To be the custodian of all Q&FS activities

  • Regularly review all Q&FS standards and maintain the relevant quality trackers in order to create and implement the actions required to close gaps

  • Support the training of the user groups to deploy new Q&FS systems and Ways of Working

  • Build and support the HACCP Program

  • Creation and maintenance of the Q&FS Program

  • Q&FS System Design & Implementation

  • Liaise between Global, Regional and Site Q&FS functions as well as utilising experts across the Mars community to help to create and support a world class Q&FS strategy
