Head of EU Logistics (f/m/x)

in Pet Nutrition Europe

Primary location: Warsaw (possible UK/France/Germany)

This position is responsible for Factory to Warehouse transport operations for all three business segments (Pet Nutrition, Mars Wrigley and Foods) across Europe including imports and exports. Going forward this position will also be responsible for Factory Logistics operations for Pet Nutrition and Foods segments.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Delivering Customer Service improvement, Cost and CO2e reduction targets.

• Own Operational performance of the Factory to Warehouse transport team - internal and 4PL control tower.

• Lead improvement of processes and Systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency of our transportation and logistics processes.

• Use data analytics to drive improvements in operations and freight buying.

• Collaborate with factory and customer facing teams to enable direct deliveries from factories to customers.

• Collaborate with SC Industrial Engineering teams to simplify distribution network to drive savings and reduce CO2e emissions

• Integrate Factory Logistics operations and drive process standardization and simplification.

• Lead productivity initiatives to deliver efficiency in Supply Chain Operating Costs.

• Create collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to deliver mutually beneficial results.

• Manage and develop associates, providing them with the coaching and training that will enable them to meet their objectives.

• Effectively develop and consistently deliver team engagement plans.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management and/or related field.

• Fluent in English (written & spoken).

• Minimum of 10 years of business experience including order management, customer service, supply chain, and/or sales.

• 3-5 years of experience managing teams - ability to inspire and lead a team.

• Customer Facing Experience - ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
