We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a grinding operator to work within our Castle Cary site across rotating shifts; the Process Operator will be responsible for working the grinding machine to contribute to the manufacture of a consistently high-quality product.

Process Operator key responsibilities:

• As the Process Operator you will maintain excellent extruder efficiency in line with the set plan and escalate any deviation from standard or plan

• Support peers in achieving highest Safety, Quality and Efficiency standards throughout the processing area

• Be responsible for the achievement of GMP/GHP process score

• Ensure cleaning regimes are upheld and fulfilled to the highest standard

• Ensure Critical Control Points and mandatory Quality checks are completed as required and deviations are escalated through FMOS using the appropriate channel

• The Process Operator will be a flexible member of the team that does what is required to ensure maximum efficiency and output of the line whilst adhering to our Quality & Safety procedures

• The Process Operator will be required to have a broad understanding of the area operation and how it interfaces with different parts of the plant

Process Operator skills and experience:

• Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)

• Workable Written and Spoken English

• Experience in an FMCG Manufacturing environment preferred but not essential

• Experience from a similar role essential; you could have worked as a manufacturing operative; extrusion operative; machinery operative; factory operative etc.

• Flexibility, Team Player and Great Communication Skills
