The job holder will act as a global graphics systems manager across all segments, supporting and evolving the global artwork commercialization systems and delivery landscape, support the design to print process working closely with marketing/activity management, Mars DT and procurement functions.

The role will connect closely with all global and regional segment activities, serve as first point of contact for all technical, respectively infrastructure related questions and will lead a number of external suppliers on various technologies and tools.

The role is of very technical nature supporting and evolving the systems landscape linked to artwork management including Veritas (spec management), Helix (legal text on pack), Salsify (trade data proliferation) and Yellofin (artwork approval workflow).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Process Management: The job holder will be accountable for setting up and maintaining a robust end-to-end infrastructure of workflow and data management tools covering the needs of the global graphics and packaging compliance teams. In collaboration with the global design & graphics leadership team, continuous improvement activities as well as technical innovation projects will be driven out of this role. Support for internal (Veritas) as well as external tools (Yellofin, Dragonfly, Salsify, GlobalVision etc) will be part of the role.
  • Global Ownership for Yellofin Platform: Backbone of the artwork management process is the Yellofin platform. Maintaining and evolving the environment, initiate and drive further implementations and own further integration with adjacent systems in collaboration with the regional and global segment leads is a key responsibility of the role.
  • Technical Leadership for Graphics Related Subjects: The area of artwork commercialization and graphics is undergoing significant change and new technologies require technical understanding in order to coordinate internal teams as well as external partners in leveraging these opportunities.
  • Technical Leadership for Systems Related Subjects: The artwork management process interfaces with a number of adjacent processes which are all impacted by significant process and IT changes. Examples are Veritas (specification management), Helix (legal text creation), Lighthouse and Salsify (Digital Asset Management, d-Comm and Syndication with Trade Partners), Orchestration Layer. The job holder will support the interfaces with local systems and handle any problems linked to the systems.
  • Functional Supplier Management: In close collaboration with the Global Graphics Director, the job holder will manage global and regional suppliers supporting the artwork management process. In close collaboration with internal stakeholders from Marketing, Activity Management and Commercial, excellent supplier management with the setup of SOWs, rate cards and governance structures will be a key part of the role.
  • Global Ownership of Technical Themes: The global expert centre is designed as a distributed structure with ownership of technical topics in the regions. Depending on the profile of the jobholder, digital technology (workflow interfaces, Mars DT systems) or graphics (print quality management / global color management) related topics can be driven from this role.
