We are hiring a “Data Products & Architecture Transformation Director ” to drive data, data platform, and data product initiatives across the enterprise data domains within the EOS digital transformation program, shaping the company's strategic trajectory.

In Royal Canin's ongoing Enterprise Transformation, digital and data are recognized as pivotal drivers of value. The Director collaborates closely with the Royal Canin Enterprise COE Leadership to oversee all EOS - ERP Data & Insights transformation projects across the organization, closely working with RC DnA, Global Petcare and Enterprise Tech teams.

Responsibilities encompass managing ERP Data & Insights delivery, coordinating with EOS project interdependencies, mitigating milestone conflicts, and ensuring deliverable commitments across multiple projects. This role plays a crucial part in leveraging data-driven decision-making within the EOS data landscape and its transformative potential.

Responsible for end-to-end technology and functional data product solutions, working with enterprise technology teams, cross-functional teams, and the segment data product solutions to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan. Focused on the design, deployment of data, functional, technical architecture, and the primary integration points.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Data and Architecture Leadership:

Ownership of the end-to-end data product solution design and domain data foundations, data product strategy, technical and functional data architecture of the EOS Transformation. Deep understanding of business drivers / processes and ability to relate domain / segment / division priorities to associated technology.

  • Enterprise-wide Collaboration:

Work with Enterprise Architects, Segment Architects, Domain Product Owners, and business leaders to understand the drivers and objectives of key initiatives.

Working closely with Royal Canin DnA, Petcare DnA and collaborating with Enterprise Technologies and leveraging external vendors to ensure smooth delivery, integration, and alignment across the Enterprise DT, MGS, and PET organization.

  • Leadership and Management:

Lead a large team of associates and contractors to design, develop and deliver standardized and scalable EOS Data product capabilities. Support and mentor the development teams in delivering joined up end to end solutions providing guidance and best practice where necessary.

  • Data Product Governance:

Ensuring end to end comprehensive data governance throughout the entire spectrum of EOS data product solutions, leading the delivery of governance, and modernizing governance process for data product solutions/platforms for EOS/RC. Ensuring effective governance of the data product portfolio.

  • Strategic Delivery:

Ensures strategic delivery is linked to business operations. Developing an innovative data product architecture and data platform strategy to position Royal Canin as a leader in data-driven innovation and competitiveness.

  • Program Management:

Drives business excellence and project results through deployment of domain, functional and segment expertise, including project management, change management, and continuous improvement to support strategic business objectives.

  • Coordination and Collaboration:

Leading coordination and collaboration with the Enterprise Technologies, GDO and PET D&A teams. Having authority and responsibility over the Process Managers of the CoE focusing on Data products & Analytics processes and providing guidance or leadership to other Associates.
