Royal Canin has set itself up to improve Pets’ Health at scale and with precision. This requires:

  • scientific understanding of each pet’s health needs

  • our brand to build a relationship with each pet owner so their pets can have Royal Canin nutrition

  • in-depth understanding of ecosystem pain-points so Royal Canin is able to develop the products and services and get them through to the pet

Therefore, we need to infuse decision making at each level of RC with relevant facts and insights leveraging unified strategic data assets.

What are we looking for?

  • 15+ years of work with 5+ years of people leadership in the area of Management Consulting, Strategic Consulting, Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Business Analysis, or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience working in a multi-business unit or multi-client environment that emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and teamwork

  • Ability to influence C-level leadership, able to persuade leaders to change behaviors and invest behind new approaches and strategies

  • Proven ability to guide and partner with senior business leaders including strategy, marketing, operations, technology, and data & analytics

  • Great at developing new relationships, driving positive change, and matching business challenges to analytics opportunities

  • Ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear and simple way

  • Superior planning, project management and organizational orchestration skills

  • Able to partner effectively with leadership and functional stakeholders to bring value as an advisor, ensure recognition of your team’s contribution and deliver business and pet health benefits from initiatives

    Connect and Collaborate effectively across Petcare to ensure our efforts are consistent, complementary and enable ecosystem benefits that are greater than the sum of the parts

  • Role model the ecosystem approach across all business units

  • Develop and champion ecosystem led Pet and Pet Parent centric approaches prioritize solutions based on consumer choices or pet needs

  • Be the voice of value creation (pet health and monetary) in roadmap development and analytics initiative delivery

  • Commercial experience in leading and building Data & Analytics capabilities, teams, and projects and creating and delivering insight to inspire action and deliver business benefit

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Identify opportunities and partner with Royal Canin senior leaders and the team of Engagement Leads to set priorities, manage expectations, facilitate change needed to activate insights, measure impact, and drive projects to scale

  • Breaking down business questions, and pain points into Data & Analytics topics

  • Sharpening with the business stakeholders the Data & Analytics topic into a project brief

  • Creating and sustaining the demand for Data & Analytics projects

  • Managing and prioritizing the pipeline of Data & Analytics work

  • Acting as translator for the business into the Data & Analytics team and vice versa, creating with the technical team the roadmap for delivery of particular projects for example

  • Generating Actionable insights and storytelling from analytical findings

  • Driving action from use cases to improve pet health and generate commercial value

  • Successfully rolling out and using analytics products into business through stakeholder management, training, and business process change when and where needed

  • Serving as change agents and catalysts in the adoption of data driven, agile, and digital ways of working into Royal Canin/Petcare/Mars

  • To be the thought leader in Royal Canin (with the rest of the Data & Analytics Leadership Team) for data driven methodologies, use cases, and approaches into the business.
