The role of Global BI Data Manager is part of our vibrant Data & Analytics (D&A) organization. The role reports to the Royal Canin Global Data Director. The role has direct responsibility to transform and support the Royal Canin BI Data Foundations across RC.

What are we looking for?

  • 7+ years professional experience in the BI & Data area in a cloud environment (Azure).

  • Business acumen and experience in working with multiple functions is preferred (Sales, marketing, supply, R&D, HR, etc).

  • Great at developing new relationships, driving positive change, and matching analytics opportunities to data acquisition strategy.

  • Excellent planning, project management, organizational orchestration, peer relationships and vendor management skills.

  • Good understanding of Data Protection and Privacy principles and practices including PI/PL.

  • Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • The Global BI Data Lead defines the BI data strategy, in partnership with the Data Platform lead and the Data architect.

  • Aligns and delivers the RC BI roadmap at global level.

  • Manages the transformation of our BI platform to move to modern Data & Analytics tools, in compliance with Mars Cyber Security Standards and Privacy Policies.

  • Partners with functions and divisions to ensure RC data capabilities roadmap, operating model and governance principles are best serving the organization BI data strategy and are effectively activated across RC.

  • Partners with Business Owners of all functions (Director level) and main regional representatives in order to orchestrate and govern BI deliveries.

  • Leads a team of up to 4 associates “BI data product managers”, and 10+ external consultants, operating in a Dev-Ops model until products reach a sufficient level of maturity.

  • Further develop synergies with the Segment Data team and Ecosystem, especially supporting the enrichment of Royal Canin and of PetCare Ecosystem Data Assets.

  • Coordinate technical activities with IT team to ensure smooth handover of first levels of support.
