Slough or Paddington, UK

Salary up to £66,000 + bonus + benefits

Hybrid working- 2 days a week on-site.

We are seeking an FP&A Business Partner in either Slough or Paddington, UK for Mars Global Services (MGS). As an FP&A Business Partner, you will provide partnerships to Service & Finance Business Partners, MGS Overhead Functions, and transformation projects. Your role will involve providing traditional FP&A support and developing customer-centric communications. The role may adjust and flex based on demand within MGS. You will need strong execution skills, analytical capability, problem-solving skills, technical and functional acumen, familiarity with change management, and the ability to work with a globally located organization. You will interact with peers and leaders and be able to create storylines to communicate service business initiatives and the value creation achieved.

What are we looking for?

  • Working towards or qualified in a recognized finance qualification.
  • Experience working in a finance/planning environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ITFM systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully influence colleagues within and outside the Service & Finance function.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge in SAP & MS Office (Strong Excel skills desired, i.e., pivot tables).
  • HFM and SAP Experience or Equivalent ERP system is preferred.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Execute finance processes and procedures in Nicus for control, planning, and reporting related to Service Business.
  • Manage budget governance process in Nicus for accountable business segments, including SWB and one-time costs.
  • Track costs and benefits globally and lead quarterly reviews.
  • Utilize tools for tracking actual costs and coordinating across segments.
  • Deliver financial reporting and presentations to Service Business co-pilots and Leadership Teams.
  • Provide critical insights and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Develop reporting to translate Service Business project activities into value stories.
  • Identify and highlight risks for KPI delivery with solution recommendations.
  • Manage finance closing process timely and accurate.
  • Track and report periodic and YTD results against budget.
  • Ensure complete and accurate entries into the budgeting system are aligned with targets.
  • Provide periodic financial reporting and presentations.
  • Provide analysis of key cost drivers and performance metrics.
