Location: Slough or Paddington, UK

Hybrid Working – 2 days a week onsite.

Salary £45,000-£55,000 + bonus + benefits

We are seeking an FP&A Business Partner (Digital) to join our Mars Wriggly team in either Slough or Paddington. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing the FP&A Digital agenda that improves the integrity of our underlying financial data/systems, develops new analytics to drive process efficiency, and elevates the timeliness and quality of reporting, forecasting, and insights. Typical projects include developing the use of new tools e.g. Anaplan, driving analytics, identifying opportunities to simplify and automate financial reporting, etc.

What are we looking for?

  • Working towards or holding a financial qualification (e.g., CIMA or ACCA).
  • Business acumen in the required market and experience in Demand Finance.
  • Collaborating and Partnering - Ability to foster relationships and cross-functional partnerships that lead to effective collaboration and value creation.
  • Effective Communication - Ability to communicate financial and non-financial information appropriately to diverse audiences in different situations.
  • Management Reporting & Analysis - Ability to drive value creation through timely and accurate reporting of results and sharing insightful analysis using digital tools and technologies.
  • Integrated Value Creation Planning - Ability to develop an integrated 3-5 year plan that aligns business strategy, ambition, and priority initiatives for long-term value creation.
  • Financial Reporting - Knowledge and application of Mars Incorporated's accounting policies and principles to provide timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Business Planning - Ability to set goals, develop strategies, and identify relevant metrics that adapt to changes in the internal and external landscape.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with PowerBI/Tableau.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Provide financial insight, initiative, and thought leadership to Finance leadership teams on future reporting automation and standardisation.
  • AI lead for the Regional Finance Team.
  • Lead the FP&A Digital value creation plan process, collaborating with finance business partners to develop a consolidated plan
  • Digital Deployment lead for FP&A and the broader Regional Finance Team.
  • Support the period-end, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting process.
  • Adhere to corporate required submission guidelines, including system validations.
  • and timeliness of submission e.g., IVCP and AEP
  • Assist in variance analysis and insights on portfolio and market financials.
  • performance to Finance Business Partners
  • Assist with the driving/leading of key Governance related initiatives and projects.
  • Support the Finance team in other areas, including special projects and requests,
  • perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Contribute and support an effective, highly competent and engaged Finance team.
