£24,000 - £25,000 plus Shift Allowance and benefits

The role of the Flavour Store operator is to ensure that Flavour is distributed to all production areas in a safe and timely manner; unloading and safe storage of deliveries in the flavour store. This is an intrinsically safe working environment with highly flammable ingredients, strict safety and operating procedures must be adhered to.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Training and sign off to acquire all skills necessary to supply flavour and materials to all production areas.

• Work following strict safety and operating procedures, this is an intrinsically safe Atex Zone 1 and 2 department where the associate will be responsible for highly expensive and volatile ingredients.

• Must follow recipes and make correct and accurate flavour blends.

• Follow production plans and deliver a timely distribution of flavours to production areas.

• Maintain accurate stock control using PDLS / Atlas – investigate and understand all stock discrepancies.

• Unload deliveries and book using PDLS.

• Material Traceability.

• General Warehouse duties.

• Over seeing unload process for bulk liquid/bulk powder materials.

• Liaise with Materials team to ensure efficiency of inbound bulk delivery schedules

• Support release process of raw materials.

What are we looking for?

• Working knowledge of PDLS and SAP Atlas

• Materials management in a warehouse environment.

• Computer literacy

• Previous experience in Logistics, warehousing environment.

• Ability to learn new skills and to ensure these skills and knowledge are transferred to others.

• Preferred - Fork truck licence (trained in last 3 years)
