£33,000 - £36,000 DOE + Bonus and benefits

We have an opportunity for a Field Sales Representative across the Berkshire and Hampshire areas of the UK

Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is to deliver the Royal Canin market strategy within the independent sector and value creation mutual for us and our customers.

What are we looking for?

  • Knowledge - literacy, Numeracy, IT literacy in Microsoft applications.

  • Experience- customer facing sales & negotiation experience required, FMCG experience or specialist pet trade channel knowledge with field sales experience desirable.

  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (qualify for fleet insurance criteria).

  • Ability to physically lift large quantities of product.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Achieve sales growth through our category-based value creation strategy.

  • Deliver the in-store Picture of Success through our Perfect Store programme.

  • Deliver new product launches, promotional programmes & marketing with retailers.

  • Deliver category-based range, layout, and merchandising recommendations.

  • Negotiate trading terms discounts with customers to reward Perfect Store achievement.

  • Achieve collaborative, mutual, and long-term customer relationships based upon trust.

  • Provide nutritional and product education to retailers and enable them to recommend our products knowledgeably and with confidence to their customers.
