Mars Shared Services Finance (MGSF) are transforming their business processes, to optimize and standardize shared services within Finance under a single BPO provider. This will be enabled through strong partnership with Digital Technologies to transform their current technology capability ecosystem by deploying & scaling critical technologies to create a 'fit for purpose' landscape for current and future MGSF strategic goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for an IT program manager to join the Enterprise Technologies - Finance team, responsible for leading technology deployments as part of MGS Finance digital transformation program - ('process globalisation'). This role will be a catalyst for significant change & critical enabler delivering sustainable future state technology capabilities, digitalizing current ways of working within MGS Finance.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, related field or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in an advanced project/program management roles
- Experience working in a matrix environment where creating collaboration and influence are required for generating results.
- Excellent written, oral, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent knowledge of program / project management techniques.
- Prince2, PMI etc qualifications or other project management related qualifications.
- Previous functional / line management experience of up to 3 people.
- Experience leading transformation programs, deploying SaaS, OnPrem/Cloud and other technologies.
- Good knowledge of new and emerging cross functional technologies (e.g. SAP S4 Hana, AI/ML, Data & Analytics, Process Mining/Task Mining).
- Good knowledge of finance systems/capabilities (e.g. SAP, High Radius Cloud, VIM OpenText, Blackline etc.) - preferred
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Partner with MGSF & DT teams to implement deploy critical technology enablers for finance.
- Lead simultaneous technology workstreams for Invoice to Cash, Invoice to Pay, SCF & R2R.
- Ensure delivery targets are realistic and are met on time/budget.
- Establish delivery SDCL execution framework to build & deploy technology enablers across MGSF.
- Budget management up to $10m, adhering to funding governance frameworks & Mars guidelines.
- Functional line management responsible for delivering technology implementation roadmap.
- Establish appropriate program communication framework for managing progress with stakeholders.
- Lead teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.
- Maintain risks and issues effectively (e.g. RAID) leveraging industry PMO best standard's.
- Manage & overcome program risks, and communicate updates to senior MGSF/DT stakeholders.
- Agree and implement PMO checkpoints, sign off critical stage gates for relevant go-lives.
- Partner with cross functional MGS teams to validate assumptions/manage stakeholder expectations.
- Comfortable working directly with senior leaders; aligning senior execs with differing perspectives.
