Our Engineering Director is accountable for safety, quality and performance of all equipment and technical systems on site In short term as well as In long term perspective. Meanwhile Engineering Director Is accountable for capital projects execution on site. The Engineering director contributes to long term site development by leading site master planning process.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in engineering management (maintenance, industrial, services, E&A), preferably in the FMCG sector

  • Proven track record of people management and development with a minimum five years of line management experience

  • Demonstrable experience and delivery with MSE methodologies

    Experience in managing major capital investment projects

  • Demonstrable knowledge of legislative and regulatory standards relevant to role

  • Budgetary management experience (>€2m maintenance, >€4m capital investment)

  • Track record of successful team leadership & engagement

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Leadership of the engineering team, including 7 direct reports and 29 indirect reports (LM2).

  • Accountable for leading development, succession planning and performance management across the engineering team with a strong focus on building engineering capability around business and site needs.

  • Site sponsor for engineering apprenticeship program with accountability for recruitment and development of apprentices.

    Responsible for legislative, regulatory, and business compliance in respect of safety and quality.

  • Accountable for maintenance of all factory assets including manufacturing equipment, industrial services, and IT infrastructure. Asset management includes management of equipment obsolescence through the sites base case investment strategy.

  • Management of the maintenance budget (c.€3.3m) including budget setting, forecasting and delivery.

    PM Pillar lead with accountability for PM deployment aligned to business and site priorities.

  • Accountable for the site investment masterplan working closely with the regional engineering and R&D teams to support business objectives including sustainability, new product/packaging development and performance optimisation.

  • Management of the capital investment budget (c.€5m YoY) including budget setting, forecasting and delivery.
