Title: Engineer, Packaging Development

Location: Franklin, TN

Workstyle: Onsite

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Direct leadership of key packaging development projects.
• Support the translation of technology from ideas into virtual and working proof of principle models.
• Support Mars packaging sustainability and productivity goals.
• Innovation engineering development of new science and technology
• Forming effective knowledge/technology teams (internal and external) to overcome hurdle to advance ideas and concepts.

What are we looking for?

• BS degree in Packaging Engineering, Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years in engineering technology development (preferably food industry)
• Consistently meets or exceeds the standards and expectations of internal and external customers and consumers
• Manage scale-up risk and introduction of technology into supply chain
• Demonstrated process and packaging science, packaging engineering, machine design development and design through virtual prototyping methods
• Willingness to travel 30%
