Electrical Maintenance Technician
Slough
£40,000 - £45,000 DOE
The Electrical Maintenance Technician role at Mars Wrigley is pivotal within the maintenance team.
You will be looked upon as a go to person for solving issues which to others deem unsolvable.
With a large amount of differing technologies there is always scope for upskilling and development.
What are we looking for?
You'll have worked in a similar role requiring technical skills in electrical and control engineering, this needn't have been confectionary or production based.
You'll have a technical qualification such as HNC / ONC / City & Guilds, ideally with an electrical apprenticeship, or significant experience in lieu of this.
You’ll be comfortable working on process instrumentation, control gear & PLCs.
Experience in LV & ELV electrical circuits.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Sometimes outside your sphere of knowledge.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Your primary responsibility is to develop and deliver the electrical and control elements of an integrated maintenance system and reliability improvement program..
You will also at times be required to carry out preventative maintenance tasks and improvement projects
You will be a key member of the Maintenance & Reliability team and in your role you will analyse, diagnose and solve complex technical issues.
You'll occasionally manage internal and contract labour to undertake maintenance and engineering improvements.
