£40,000 - £45,000 DOE

The Electrical Maintenance Technician role at Mars Wrigley is pivotal within the maintenance team.

You will be looked upon as a go to person for solving issues which to others deem unsolvable.

With a large amount of differing technologies there is always scope for upskilling and development.

What are we looking for?

  • You'll have worked in a similar role requiring technical skills in electrical and control engineering, this needn't have been confectionary or production based.

  • You'll have a technical qualification such as HNC / ONC / City & Guilds, ideally with an electrical apprenticeship, or significant experience in lieu of this.

  • You’ll be comfortable working on process instrumentation, control gear & PLCs.

  • Experience in LV & ELV electrical circuits.

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues. Sometimes outside your sphere of knowledge.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Your primary responsibility is to develop and deliver the electrical and control elements of an integrated maintenance system and reliability improvement program..

  • You will also at times be required to carry out preventative maintenance tasks and improvement projects

  • You will be a key member of the Maintenance & Reliability team and in your role you will analyse, diagnose and solve complex technical issues.

  • You'll occasionally manage internal and contract labour to undertake maintenance and engineering improvements.
