Job Description

Job Description:

Are you ready to shape the future of digital supply chain planning for iconic global snacking brands? As the Director, Digital Technology Business Partner - E2E Planning, you will serve as the strategic digital leader and primary conduit between North American business leadership and Global Digital Technologies teams. In this critical, dedicated role, you will lead the digital transformation of our end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OP capabilities across North America—harmonizing processes, retiring legacy disparate systems, and deploying enterprise-grade global platforms.

You will co-own the multi-year digital capability roadmap with business executives, modernizing our technology ecosystem and embedding cutting-edge AI, cognitive planning, and digital twins into our supply network. If you thrive at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, and large-scale transformation, this role offers an unmatched platform to drive lasting impact across Mars Snacking.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Minimum Experience: 15+ years of progressive professional IT and business partnership experience, with a proven track record leading large-scale supply chain planning and digital transformation programs.

  • Advanced Planning Systems (APS): Extensive hands-on experience implementing, or managing enterprise APS platforms (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro, SAP IBP, SAP APO).

  • Core ERP & Planning Architecture: In-depth, solid understanding in SAP ERP systems and their architecture/integration with Advanced Planning Solutions (APS).

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Demonstrated ability to partner with VP- and Senior Director-level executives, translating complex business strategies into actionable multi-year digital roadmaps.

  • Process Harmonization & Change Leadership: Strong background in reimagining, harmonizing, and digitizing end-to-end IBP/S&OP processes within large multinational organizations.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Direct implementation experience with Kinaxis Maestro.

  • Deep understanding functional/technical knowledge of SAP IBP and/or SAP APO.

  • Proven experience evaluating and integrating emerging supply chain technologies (e.g., AI/ML touchless planning, predictive analytics, digital twins).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Strategic Co-Ownership: Partner with VP/Sr. Director-level business executives to define and execute multi-year digital capability roadmaps that directly support enterprise strategic objectives.

  • Ecosystem Modernization: Guide the modernization and adoption of advanced planning technology stacks (APS) across the North America region, retiring legacy platforms and driving standard global deployments.

  • Regional Voice & Global Alignment: Act as the strategic conduit between North American business stakeholders and global DT product teams, ensuring regional requirements are embedded into global roadmaps while championing global standards locally.

  • E2E Process Digitization: Partner with business process owners to reimagine and harmonize end-to-end IBP/S&OP processes prior to deploying digital automation and advanced tools.

  • Regional Solution Delivery: Lead the strategy and execution to bring regional-specific digital products to life when local market requirements fall outside the core global roadmap.

  • AI & Innovation Leadership: Drive the AI and advanced analytics agenda across supply chain planning, actively evaluating tech startups, vendor roadmaps, touchless planning capabilities, and digital twins to deliver competitive advantage.

  • Stakeholder Management & Adoption: Ensure flawless business readiness, adoption, and value realization for digital planning products deployed across North America.

What can you expect from Mars?

  • Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles.

  • Join a purpose-driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.

  • Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.

  • An industry-competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
